Thailand 2018/2019 - Khao Kho
Off to the airport. Poor Grab driver trying to squeeze the luggage into the boot.
We were given a Toyota Altis instead of the Honda BRV that we booked.
After inspecting the car, off we go to Khao Kho.
Papa found a shady place to park the car.
Decided to have lunch at New Bua Tong Roast Chicken.
Viv and her coconut.
The famous roast chicken. And a Coke to go with it.
The eggs was so good that we ordered another serving.
Must have some veg to go with the meal.
Bon Appétit .
Some of the nice scenery along our journey.
After more than 6 hours drive, we arrived at the administration building for the check-in.
Our double-bedded apartment in Khao Kho.
A viewing area with a balcony.
As well as a bathroom.
The view from our living room.
A quick visit to the Strawberry Farm near our apartment.
Strawberries waiting to be plucked.
MOO MOO.....
Dinner time at Krua Khoa Kho.
Mum & Dad ordering the food.
While we wait.....Hungry!!!!!!!!
Lol the must have egg omelette;
deep fried whole fish;
tom yam soup;
stirred fried mushrooms;
and this to cool us down :P
The next morning, we had a super early breakfast and dashed up Phu Thap Buek hoping to catch the Sea of Cloud but were disappointed D:
Misty Misty but not enough to form solid cloud. Nevertheless, the scenery was still very nice that worth the trip up.
Up at the Top of the World.
Next we head up to Pino Latte, enroute we passed by Wat Prathat Phasornkaew. The place was crowded with people as it is the 1st day of 2019. Many people came to pay respect.
A Close up Shot.
At first we wanted to try Takmoh coffee. But after going through the menu, we decided to go Pino Latte instead.
Outdoor view at Pino Latte
Look at the Rainbow Cake.
Also ordered a Spaghetti and Breakfast set.
Viv and her pose.
Me with my drink.
Nest destination was Blue Sky Resort. A Resort Hotel with a beautiful Garden popular with couples taking their wedding photos here. A small fee is required for those not staying at the resort to access the garden.
Deprived childhood.
My turn to rest.
Cause earlier on we got lost in the Maze.
My Happy Family.
Next we headed for the Windmill Farm. (Mummy's favorite).
Quite a few shops around here as this is a tourist attraction.
They also conduct guided tour around the farm.
Mummy with her favorite Windmill & Sunflower.
After Windmill, next is Sri Dit Waterfall. It must be late as no one else is around anymore. We were the only visitor there :O
Rare moment where you see Viv doing exercise.
Hungry liao, let's go to Tanrak Talaymok Restaurant for dinner.
The place is quite well maintained and popular with both locals and tourist.
Viv found her spot.
Soon the sun began to set.
The place looks beautiful when bath by the golden ray.
Our meal for the night.
After dinner, we head back to the apartment to get ready for our journey to Khao Yai the next day. Good nite.
